Unexpected Discovery

Follow the passage to the west. Scramble up the tree on the cliff’s edge to the left and hop over to the ledge above.

From this ledge, jump and use your pickaxes to climb up the wall.

At the top, you’ll find a rickety wooden walkway. Before crossing, switch on your Survival Instinct and look for the climbable wall on the right.

Climb the wall and proceed left until you reach man-made stairs.

Continue upwards using the climbable wall. Before doing so, head down the stairs to the far end of the rickety walkway to grab a crate of Salvage and a box of reagents. Return up the stairs.

Follow the stairs to the top and jump and swing across a branch to the next platform. Activate the Monolith to reveal three Coin Caches on the map.

Climb the final set of stairs. If you have a Poison Arrow, use it on one of the two distant enemies. Shoot the third guard who comes to investigate.

Approach the downed enemies to unlock the ‘Communications Tower’ Base Camp. Use this to apply upgrades and spend skill points.

Southeast of the Base Camp, near a hole in the fence overlooking the cliff, find a Coin Cache [01/09] in the snow.

Climb the stairs (left) or the scalable wall to reach the top.

On the south-facing wall of the main structure, find Mural [07/11 - Russian]. By the northwest corner of the structure, find Survival Cache [06/21].

Loot the crate of Salvage before entering the building.

Enter the supply shack to find the Byzantine Coin vendor. Available items include: Refinement Tool (175 Coins), Commando Outfit (50 Coins), Rifle Laser Sight (25 Coins), Rifle Grenade Launcher (120 Coins), Rope Ascender (30 Coins), and Pistol Suppressor (25 Coins).

Exit the building and loot the Document [10/26] on a crate opposite the exit.

Climb the ladder and use the zip line to ride down to the prison grounds. A scene will play.
