Tracking Down Trinity: Research Base

From Lara's starting position, move forward and through the crack in the rocks. Use Rope Arrows to create a zipline or the grapple axe to cross the pit. Follow the platform to the end.

Scramble up the wall at the back of the platform, navigate the crawl space, and hop across the platforms. Grab the scalable wall at the chasm's end and continue through the crack in the rocks to return outside.

Cross the fallen tree and use Rope Arrows on the hanging pillar to swing to the far side. As Lara jumps, use the axe button to latch onto the scalable wall and climb to the top for a cutscene.

After the scene, loot the nest for Feathers if desired. Approach the tree ahead, scramble up the trunk, and grab the branches. Jump to the wall on the right, use the grapple to pull yourself up to the handhold, shimmy right, and scramble to the top.

Follow the set route through the canyon (left). After crossing the small river, look in a dead end to the left for Survival Cache 01.

Proceed down the path and use the fallen log to cross the water. Turn left on solid ground and walk to the dead end for a Survival Cache [01/03]. Proceed to the objective marker for a cutscene.

Follow the vehicle tracks up the slope. Loot Hardwood/Herb shrubs and a bird's nest for Feathers along the way. Enter the stalking bush at the end of the tracks.

In the clearing, wait for the two enemies to separate and eliminate them using headshots or silent takedowns.

Locate the large truck with a fuel tank at the northern end of the clearing. Shoot the red barrels next to it to initiate the 'Scorched Earth' challenge and blow up Fuel Tank [Scorched Earth 01/04]. Loot Hardwood and Oil nearby.

Approach the excavator and loot the Hardwood/Herb trees. Climb the log behind the excavator and use the path through the tree branches to reach a hunting platform.

From the hunting platform, use your bow to take down the three enemies below with headshots as they separate. If detected, use Poison/Grenade Arrows on the converging enemies or track them down. Alternatively, use the second hunting platform for Molotov construction and maneuverability.

After clearing the area, loot bodies and Hardwood shrubs. Locate the crashed snow plough and find the passage behind it for an Archivist’s Map. Use Broadhead Arrows to scale the wall to the right of the plough.

At the top, enter the next large area. Stealthily eliminate the pair of enemies ahead. Use the rocky platform in the center to observe other enemy groups.

Quickly target the pair of enemies by the front vehicle on the left.
