Alright, so you're looking to pick up another side-mission in Rise of the Tomb Raider, huh? This one's called 'Dangerous Territory' and it's a good one. You'll find the quest giver, a wounded Remnant Soldier, chilling by a shack. It's located between the 'Logging Camp' Base Camp and the saw mill. Just check your map – see that green circle to the north? That's your destination: a cave that needs clearing out.

Walkthrough

First things first, head over to the cave entrance. Just to the right of it, near a bridge, you'll spot a Monolith. You won't be able to read it yet since you need Russian proficiency level 3, but go ahead and mark it on your map. It's good to know where these things are for later.

Once you're ready, enter the cave. You should get the [Into Darkness Challenge 04/05] notification right about now.

Cross the bridge to the north (it's the one on the left). This leads you to the target cave. Inside, make sure you've got some Poison Arrows ready.

At the base of the ramp inside the cave, look to your left. You'll find a vein of Magnesite Ore. There's also a Mushroom nearby if you need it. Grab them if you want, but keep those Poison Arrows handy.

Proceed cautiously into the tunnel right by the base of the ramp. There's another vein of Magnesite Ore on the right wall, but honestly, you've got bigger fish to fry right now.

Okay, here's the main event: there are five Wolves up ahead. As you move into the tunnel, they'll spot you and attack. You need to kill all of them to finish the mission. Try to take out one or two with your bow as they come at you, but don't stress if you can't get them all. It's totally fine to fall back into the previous room.

In fact, falling back to that previous room is a pretty smart move. Run laps around the area to get the wolves to bunch up. When they're all close together, that's your golden opportunity to hit them with a Poison Arrow and take out several at once. Keep moving to dodge them, and just repeat this process until every last wolf is down.

Once they're all dead, loot their corpses. Then, head back to the soldier who gave you the quest to collect your reward.

You'll earn the Pistol Sights weapon attachment for completing this side-mission.

Tips

If you want to find the quest giver again after you've finished, he should be back in the cave. If not, just fast travel to a Base Camp and then back again. He'll be there with the Remnant general, and they'll give you another side-mission called ‘Gulag Recon’.
