    From the lower right path, find a chest with DIVINE WATER. Return to the intersection and take the upper right path to the teleporter.

    Go down to an intersection. Search the right area for a hidden chest containing the MANA CAPE (DEF+21/MDF+68/SPD-3, sell). From the intersection, proceed down to the teleporter.

    Walk left to a fork. Search the upper area for a hidden chest with the WIND GOD BOOK for Gafka. From the fork, head left to an intersection and take the lower left path. Pull the barricade to access a chest with a MYTHRIL MAIL (DEF+38/MDF+64/SPD-2, sell). Return to the intersection and continue left to the teleporter.

    Proceed up to an intersection. Search the right area for a hidden floor panel. Step on the switch to activate the next teleporter. From the intersection, head up, hugging the left wall until you can go through a hard-to-see path. Equip Aht with Thauma Charms and examine the thaumachine.

    BOSS TIME: Special Thaumachine. Weakness: Lightning. Strategy: Lay a Volt Star Trap behind it and Push Assault it onto it.

    Defeating it grants the BLAST CORE for Rosch and advances the [Thaumatech's End] sidequest. Walk out of the lab and talk to the old man by the entrance to complete the quest and receive a MEDIBRANCH. Rest at the inn if desired. Return to Underground Lab B5 and take the upper teleporter.

    Head right to an intersection. Pull the two barrels above and below you to blow away the blockade to the right. Continue right to the teleporter.

    Hug the left wall until you can go through another hard-to-see path. Talk to the engineer to receive the [A Scholar's Creed] sidequest. From the fork, go down and search the right path for a hidden barrel. Pull it to the main path to blow away the machine blocking the teleporter.

    Go left to the intersection and down to a hidden chest with a CELESTIAL DEW. Take the lower left path for a chest with 2 TOURNIQUETS. Head down the lower right path to find a hidden floor panel. Push the switch to activate the teleporter up the center path.

    Along the lower left and lower right paths are two hidden barrels. Use them to blow up the right barricades for a chest with a MEDIBRANCH. Teleport to the previous floor and back to respawn the barrels. Use them to blow away the left barricades. Search beyond for a hidden floor panel. Push the switch to activate the teleporter up the center path.

    Walk up and talk to Hugo. Choosing to "Take the power" unlocks the [Hugo the Omnipotent] ending.

    [Demigod node]: Return to this node and choose to "Draw your sword." Fight Hugo (easy).

    [Wielder of Infinity node]: Talk to Fennel and pick up the OLD MAGIC BLADE. Before restoring the Historica, return to "The Beginning" node. Talk to Fennel in the lab to complete [A Scholar's Creed] and receive the HASTE CORE for Rosch.

    Return to the "Celestian War" node. Talk to Sonja to install Cores into Rosch's Gauntlet. Talk to Elm to restore HISTORICA (ATK+58/MAG+28/SPD+2) and unlock the [Blade's Resurrection] node. You can also return to "Gafka & the Scrolls" for Gafka to learn a new scroll.

    Return to the "Demigod" node. Bring Aht and Gafka. Talk to Hugo for a more challenging battle.

    BOSS TIME: Hugo. Weakness: None. Strategy: Have Aht lay a Star Trap behind Hugo, then use Push Assault and Right Assault. Lay another Star Trap at the center of the grid. Use Wind God Strike to drag everyone onto the trap and Right Assault to finish Hugo. You can steal a Venus Ring (HP+70/MP+50) from him.

    [An End to Madness node]: After defeating Hugo, peace is achieved in Alistel.

    GRANORG (Alternate Final Chapter): Recommended Level: 65. Recommended Party: Stocke, Aht, Rosch.

    [The Shadow Crown node]: Head east to the weapon shop. Talk to the man in green for the [A Timely Warning] sidequest. Return to "Flux War" to advance the plot to Granorg. Talk to him to advance the quest. Return to "The Shadow Crown," talk to him again to complete the quest and receive the OMNIPEDIA BOOK for Gafka.
Tips
  • Equip Aht with Thauma Charms before examining the thaumachine in step 4.
  • The barrels in step 8 and 10 can be used to clear blockades.
  • The barrels respawn after teleporting to a previous floor and back.
  • The choice at Hugo in step 11 leads to different endings.
  • The fight against Hugo in step 15 is more challenging with Aht and Gafka.
