    After receiving the SABLE LARME (DEF+33/MDF+25/MAG+5) for Raynie, head to Cygnus HQ and talk to Garland. Choosing to "Stay in Cygnus" unlocks the [A Mighty King's Death] ending.

    Instead, return to the [Warlord's Request node] and choose to "Lead the way." After some events, you will receive the BLOODIED ARMLET.

    Return to the "Desert City Messiah" node and proceed with events as before. This time, you will get an extra scene that unlocks the [Hedge in Exile] node.

    Return to the "Warlord's Request" node, choose to "Lead the way," and events will proceed more favorably.

    ITOLIA WASTELAND (Standard Chapter 5) [ITOL1] Recommended Level: 42. Recommended Party: Stocke, Eruca, Marco. Enemies: Desert Mercenary (Sleep), Granorg Blitzer (Sleep), Red Granorg Archer.

    To the left is a traveling merchant with new accessories. Buy 8 Crystal Charms for Stocke, Raynie, & Eruca. If you have the money, buy 4 Iron Charms for Rosch & Gafka later. Stocke should be a full-time mage for the remainder of the game.

    Go north to begin taking out the Ballistas. Head right to find a chest containing 3 SPECIAL TEAS. Head west to find your first batch of ballistas. Take out the one in the upper left corner first, then the one in the lower left corner.

    After the first boss fight, equip Stocke with his Moirae Manteau and hand down the Gospel Armor to Marco. Before heading back, check out the well in the area to the west. Climb down to find a chest with a CELESTIAL OIL. The man there appears to be waiting for you. Return back two screens.

    Garland will arrive with explosives. Use a barrel to blow up the eastern rocks. Go east two screens and search the upper right corner.

Boss Fights:

  1. BOSS TIME: Ballista, Granorg Blitzer x3 WEAKNESS: Fire, Sleep. STRATEGY: Use Sleep Gas for crowd control on the Blitzers. If you have enough starting turns, use two Left Assaults and a G-Frost to take them out. Use the Change command to string together all 10 turns. Have Marco use all his turns casting Trans-turn on Stocke. Then, arrange your turns: Double Slash, Mana Shot, Double Slash, Mana Shot, Double Slash, Mana Shot, Steal, Steal, Steal, Steal, to boost the combo bonus and steal the FREIKUGEL KREUZ (ATK+4/MAG+35/DEF-3) for Eruca. Equip him with Gospel Armor to boost Luck.
  2. BOSS TIME: Ballista x2, Red Granorg Archer WEAKNESS: Fire, None. STRATEGY: Have Stocke cast Heat Blade to take out both Ballistas. Then, use a Left Assault and G-Frost to defeat the Archers.
