    Leave the castle.

    Climb the stairs on the right side of the second ward, and then the next set of stairs.

    On the upper platform to the left, find a hidden chest containing 2000 G.

    Head down to the first ward and search the alley behind the item shop for a hidden chest containing the FIRE PACT.

    Go up the stairs on the right and search left on the upper platform for a hidden chest containing 2 MANA CRYSTALS.

    On the second floor of the inn, talk to Kaizan to advance the [One & Only] sidequest.

    Go to Lazvil Hills.

    Use the barrel on the right to blow up the rocks below to access the Southern Path.

    Cut through the tall grass on the left to reach a chest containing 2 HEALING HERBS.

    Go down the middle path and search the left side for a hidden chest containing a RUNE CLAW (ATK+41/MDF+5).

    Talk to Kaizan at Granorg to complete the [One & Only] sidequest and receive the FIRESTAR PACT for Aht.

    Rest at the inn and return to the tavern.

    Search behind the tavern to find the secret passage that leads to the palace.

BOSS TIME: Giant Boar

WEAKNESS: Fire

STRATEGY: The Giant Boar will start by casting Kiai Charge. Use Shield Herbs if you want to play it safe. It will usually spend its second turn also using Kiai Charge. String together 8-9 consecutive turns using either Change or your new Mana Burst: Turn Break to delete its turn without sacrificing your own. Once done, use Magic Boost on Stocke and Raynie, then use six Fire spells to defeat it.

Enemies: Bloody, Blue Leech (Poison/Fire), Fly Eater (Poison/Lightning), Sting (Sleep)

Tips
  • Some enemies can drop from the ceiling and get a sneak attack (their locations are fixed and marked on the map).
  • You will need to pull levers throughout the dungeon to lower drawbridges. Each lever corresponds to the drawbridge on the same screen.
