Part 16

Navigate Part 16 of Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, covering Lazvil Hills and Alistel. Includes recommended equipment, enemy strategies, and sidequest details.

Depart Celestia via the south entrance and search the left side for a hidden chest containing 3000 G. Head to Lazvil Hills.

LAZVIL HILLS (Alternate Chapter 3)

Recommended Level: 30
Recommended Party: Stocke, Aht, Gafka
Enemies: Cloudy (Lightning), Green Leech (Fire), Rafflesia (Fire), Stompy (Fire)

Your goal is to defeat the monsters threatening Celestia. Aht's high speed can disrupt combos, but she can lay traps with her extra turn. If fighting Cloudys, have Aht use Polaris to protect against poison. With magic-boosting accessories, Stocke can one-shot enemies with Fire.

Follow the path north two screens, then west and south one screen to a save point. Equip Horn Charms on Stocke, give his accessories to Aht, and head west.

BOSS TIME: Forest Bear, Stompy x2
WEAKNESS: Ice, Fire
STRATEGY: Take out the two Stompys first to prevent them from summoning reinforcements. Gafka's Push Assault and Stocke's Fire spell are effective. Push the Forest Bear onto an Ice Trap laid by Aht. Use the Change command to gain turns and finish the Forest Bear with two more Ice Traps.

You'll briefly return to Celestia. After talking to Barranca, head to the inn to talk to Vanoss, and depart for Alistel.

Head up, and Vanoss will arrive. Talk to Vanoss again to receive the [Wandering Soul] sidequest. Go to the Second Ward, climb the left stairs to the upper left, and talk to the woman to receive the [Second Opinion] sidequest. Outside the weapon shop, talk to the boy to receive the [Battlefield Missive] sidequest. Buy a Sorcery Epee for Stocke and a Magic Spear for Raynie. Return to the castle north to proceed.

After the meeting, continue using Aht and Gafka, and arrange your party as follows:

• Stocke: Sorcery Epee, Heavy Mail, Fang Charm x3
• Raynie: Magic Spear, Heavy Mail, Horn Charm x3
• Marco: Wisp Blade, Heavy Mail, Bishop Stud x3
• Aht: Rhapsody, Reinforced Cape, Crystal Charm, Thaumatech Orb, Horn Charm
• Gafka: Rune Claw, Leather Cuirass, Fang Charm x3
• Extra: Bishop Stud x3, Horn Charm x3
