Walkthrough

    From the Old Spring, take the southern exit to reach Skalla.

    In Skalla, you can visit the Inn (100 G) and the Equipment/Item Shops. Recommended equipment purchases include armor for Gafka and Rosch.

    Head to the middle house on the north side of town. Search around the bed to find a hidden soul.

    You will be prompted with a decision:
    • Choosing "Don't do anything" leads to the [Fleeting Peace] ending. If you choose this, the nearest node is "A New Alliance," requiring you to traverse Lazvil Hills and Judgement Cliff again.

    Choosing to "Send soul to heavens" advances the [Wandering Soul] sidequest.

    If you chose to advance the sidequest and need to return to Skalla, use Stocke's Vanish ability to bypass enemies.

    When ready, rest at the inn, leave Skalla, and head for the Itolia Wasteland.

    In Itolia Wasteland, proceed east one screen, south two screens, and east one screen. Take the eastern exit to reach the Abysia Forest.

    In Abysia Forest, head east one screen. You will encounter a Grand Bear. To steal a Master Fist (ATK+50/MP+30/LUC+15) for Gafka, bring in Aht and Marco, then use the Change command to string together 10 turns.
