Detailed walkthrough for Painkiller Part 20, covering the Prison and Opera House levels. Includes strategies, secrets, and item locations to help you succeed.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
In the Prison, push the blue box under the vent, quick-jump up, and enter the vent. Head right to find a relic in a secret area.
  2. 2
Continue through the vents and drop through the ceiling hole, or take the door.
  3. 3
Clear the room of 2-3 monsters, collect ammo, and shoot the gas canister.
  4. 4
As you enter the dining room, angels and bikers will spawn. You can either hide in the kitchen or run to the far corner, up the stairs, along the walkway (killing bikers), and grab armor and ammo. Use the upper walkway to shotgun enemies.
  5. 5
After the first wave, more enemies will spawn from the lower door. Clear them, pick up ammo, shoot barrels for gold, and hit Checkpoint 1.
  6. 6
Do not grab the shotgun yet. Go up the stairs to the right, clear monsters, get health and ammo. Let bikers and angels come up. Shoot the turret from the window with a stake. Kill the biker trapped behind bars. Hit Checkpoint 2.
  7. 7
Clear the upper corridors before engaging the main room. Be cautious of gas canisters at the end of each corridor. Shoot barrels on the lower floor from upper windows for chain explosions.
  8. 8
SECRET 2: Drop through the manhole to find freezer ammo and two angels.
  9. 9
Return up the ladder, kill remaining angels and bikers, and hit Checkpoint 3.
  10. 10
This is a difficult section. Stick to the lower cells initially. Use the shotgun to kill enemies and collect souls. Pick up health at the far end. Find shotgun ammo upstairs and an imprisoned holy item in a top cell (will be open later). Note the tunnel in progress in the top right cell.
  11. 11
V1.6 CONTRIBUTION: To access a relic early, move a barrel in an adjacent cell next to the locked door, then shoot the barrel to open the door.
  12. 12
You may hit Demon Morph mode. Use it to kill monsters inside the prison and through windows. Use the stakegun on remaining enemies and shoot the two gun turrets to the left before dropping through the windows.
  13. 13
Find armor at the back corner, fighting through bikers and barrels. Go through the door that opens in the prison wall, turn right, go up the stairs, and hit Checkpoint 4.
  14. 14
Turn left and clear out bikers, then proceed to the torture chamber. Wipe out all enemies, then return until all monsters are dead and Checkpoint 5 appears.
  15. 15
Enter the two open rooms for health and ammo. Note the currently locked room.
  16. 16
Shoot enemies at the bottom of the stairs, then clear the two viewing galleries, watching for the turret in the second gallery.
  17. 17
Go through the door and shotgun the remaining angels. Hit the lever on the wall at the checkpoint to open the exit.
  18. 18
SECRETS 3 & 4: Return upstairs to collect a holy item from the previously locked room and another from the upper cell that is now open.
  19. 19
Head back to the electric chair to exit the level.

Opera House - Level 2/2

The Opera House level is noted for its design, though its gameplay may be less impressive. This is the first level where you must choose your Tarot cards.

Monsters: 151 (DARK NINJA, EVIL SAMURAI, LOKHI, SPIDER)

Collectibles: GOLD: 390, ARMOUR: 2, HOLY ITEMS: 2, AMMO: 47, OBJECTS: 77, SECRET AREAS: 4

Tarot Card Condition: Collect at least 100 souls.

Recommended Card Selection: SILVER: Blessing / Soul Keeper

SECRET 1: Move a bin against the green skip in the middle. Jump onto the skip, then do a standing quick-jump to the ledge left of the fence to collect a relic. Use the single bin to jump back over the fence. Shoot the red doors and drop through.
