In Outriders: Worldslayer, players have several effective methods for farming legendary and Apocalypse gear. Expeditions from the original game remain a viable option, offering loot from Drop Pods with a chance to become Apocalypse items containing a third mod. The new end-game dungeon, Tarya Gratar, provides a variety of bosses and targeted loot rooms for specific gear slots. Tiago, the vendor, allows players to reroll items and third slots for desired gear.

Legendary Expedition Farms: Expeditions are a quick way to acquire basic legendaries and resources. The Eye of the Storm also offers more drops and a choice of three legendaries upon completion. The Apocalypse tier system increases the chance of obtaining Apocalypse upgraded items on purple and legendary gear, with higher tiers offering better odds.

Legendary Tarya Gratar Farming: Tarya Gratar is a repeatable end-game dungeon featuring skirmishes, targeted loot rooms (feet, legs, chest, gloves), and bosses with strong legendary drops. The final boss guarantees a legendary drop, often an Apocalypse legendary with T3 mods, making it a prime farming location. As of the July 12, 2022 patch, Cliffside Path, Daughter’s Sanctuary, and The Arboretum also offer guaranteed legendary drops correlating with their targeted loot.

Best Apocalypse Gear Farm: The 4x Avatar Farm: This tactic involves repeatedly defeating the final boss of Tarya Gratar up to four times per run. After defeating the boss and collecting loot, return to the lobby and log back in to resume from the checkpoint before the final boss. This allows for multiple legendary Apocalypse gear drops per completed run, significantly speeding up gear acquisition, and can be done with friends.

Tiago's Low-Cost Legendary Farm: For players who have not started the Worldslayer quest, Tiago offers legendary items and rerolls at lower prices. This method is accessible by logging into old characters who have not progressed the Worldslayer story, remaining at the Outriders camp. Boosting a new character and not accepting the Worldslayer quest also preserves these lower prices. If resources are scarce, players can stash and break down epic and legendary items on a new character to trade for Titanium and Drop Pod resources, enabling the purchase of specific legendaries or random legendary purchases.
