There are 40 Apocalypse Tiers in Outriders: Worldslayer, serving as an enhanced version of the original World Tiers. Increasing your Apocalypse Tier boosts enemy difficulty across Enoch, which in turn increases your chances of obtaining legendary rewards. While any game content can contribute to leveling your Apocalypse Tier, a casual approach will make reaching Tier 40 a lengthy process due to the increasing XP requirements per level.

As of July 7th, 2022, the most efficient method for ranking up your Apocalypse Tiers involves repeatedly fighting the final boss of the Trial of Tarya Gratar, the Arbiter of Descent, four times. This strategy grants you four times the boss XP and the opportunity to choose a piece of legendary equipment after each successful encounter. As you grow stronger, each subsequent fight against the boss will become quicker. The following steps detail how to access the Arbiter of Descent consecutively without replaying the entire trial.

Step 1: Reach the Father’s Sanctum

Your initial objective is to progress through the Trial of Tarya Gratar until you arrive at the Father’s Sanctum. From this point, you can either proceed directly to the boss or clear the optional rooms first to enhance your character's strength, enabling a faster boss takedown.

Step 2: Defeat The Arbiter of Descent

Once you have reached the Father’s Sanctum and defeated the Arbiter of Descent, quit the game to the main menu instead of returning to the camp. Upon reloading, you will respawn at the entrance to the Father’s Sanctum, allowing you to face the boss again. Be aware that each reload consumes one of your four available attempts. After exhausting these four tries, you will need to restart the trial from the beginning.
