Learn how to get the Construction Terminal blueprint in no mans sky by completing Artemis Path quests and hire an Overseer.
Walkthrough
- 1Progress through the Artemis Path quests until you reach 'Ghosts in the Machine'.
- 2Speak with Apollo, who will refer you to a contact on a space station.
- 3Scan your environment on any nearby space station to locate the contact, usually in the back room near technology merchants.
- 4The contact will provide you with the blueprint for the Construction Terminal.
- 5Return to your base using the space station's teleport module.
- 6To build the Construction Terminal, you need 40 Chromatic Metal and 25 Pure Ferrite.
- 7Ensure you have an interior space in your base protected from the elements, which requires at least a floor, four walls, a roof, and a door. A Cylindrical Room is often prompted but not strictly necessary.
- 8Build the Construction Terminal within your base's interior space.
- 9After building the Construction Terminal, you can hire a Gek NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you) as an Overseer from a space station. The 'Expanding the Base' quest will guide you to a nearby space station to hire one.
- 10The Overseer will then be present at your Construction Terminal. Interact with them to learn about other specialist terminals and receive blueprints.
Tips
- The Overseer is required to learn blueprints for other specialist terminals like the Science Terminal, Weapons Terminal, Agricultural Terminal, and Exocraft Terminal.
- NPCs for these roles can be found on space stations; their appearance is the main difference if you don't want to follow the quest marker specifically.
- The Overseer will teach you blueprints for Specialist Terminals, Storage Containers, Galactic Trade Terminal, Conflict Scanner, Geology Cannon, and Glass.
- Blueprints for items other than Specialist Terminals can also be purchased from the Construction Research Station or technology merchants on the Space Anomaly.
