Graphics Enhancements
TEAM NINJA has significantly updated several environments in the PS3 version:
- Character Model Changes: Ryu Hayabusa has brighter green eyes. Murai's character model is improved, with his scar visible in the opening cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically). Ayane's model is slightly less improved and appears more robotic.
- Ninja Fortress: Transformed from a waterfall area with a dark sky to a brighter forest-like area with yellow foliage and trees.
- Hayabusa Village: The upper mountain path is now filled with red leaves, more robust trees, and additional Japanese archways. The village itself is more colorful with falling red foliage.
- The Airship: The Main Deck is now a wide-open area with chandeliers, and the Storage Room is a large empty space with crates.
- City of Tairon: Retains its look but is higher resolution and now includes trashcans.
- The Altar Hall/Archives Room: The Altar Hall features more vibrant stained-glass windows, brighter lighting from added candle chandeliers, and a marble floor with more patterns. The Archives Room has two new paintings of Nicchae and Ishtaros on the second floor.
- Zarkhan Stadium: Features large stone patterns on the ground, real-time lighting, and added wall torches, replacing the sand-filled gladiator arena.
Overall, environments have higher textures and improved lighting, aiding navigation.
