Walkthrough

As the battle starts, move to the opposite doorway and stay there.

Roll under Warlock fireballs and wait for Masakado to pass.

Kill any nearby Warlock and use its essence for an Ultimate Technique on Masakado as he returns.

When the screen shakes and brightens, indicating Masakado's proximity, unleash the Ultimate Technique to deal significant damage.

Repeat this tactic until Masakado is defeated.

After the battle, grab the COUNTERATTACK scroll.

Approach the doorway to enter the next area.

Approach the Save Point and SAVE your game.

Tips

Masakado's attacks are similar to previous Horsemen and can be blocked.
Warlocks assist Masakado; prioritize eliminating them.
Using Warlock essence for Ultimate Techniques can shave off 20% of Masakado's health.
Be quick with Ultimate Techniques to avoid Masakado's spear attack.

Walkthrough

Enter the burning courtyard and clear out Samurais and Warlocks.

Do not enter the house immediately; instead, enter the small alley on the left side of the house to find a chest.

Grab the item from the chest.

Head inside the house and slice open the burning walls to reveal hidden Samurais.

Evade the Samurais and focus on killing the Warlocks first, being cautious of the burning area in the middle of the house.

Once all enemies are eliminated, do not exit the house yet.

Go to the back of the room and look on the left side for an open gap.

Enter this gap to a small hall and proceed down it.

Open the chest in the small hall to find a Life OTG item.

Return to the Save Point and SAVE your game.

Go back into the burning house and exit at the other end to the backyard.

Tips

The area in the middle of the house is a dangerous inferno.
A hidden chest containing a Life OTG item is located in a small hall behind a gap at the back of the room.

Walkthrough

Keep your distance from Doku as the battle begins.

Roll backward as Doku approaches to bait an attack.

Evade Doku's attacks, including the 5-hit combo, tremor attack, rush attack, double rush attack, purple fire breath, and the "stab".

Quickly approach Doku after evading an attack and perform a Square, Triangle, Triangle combo.

Quickly roll away after the combo to avoid Doku's counterattacks, especially "The Stab".

Be the aggressor in the battle; attack whenever Doku misses an attack.

Continue this pattern to shave off approximately 2% of Doku's health per successful combo if he doesn't block.

Tips

Doku wields the Dark Dragon Blade; if he stabs you with it, the mission ends and the story continues.
Defeating Doku unlocks Mission Mode.

Open the chest inside this cabin to find a MAP.

Grab the Map and exit the room.
