After clearing the room, place the SERPENT DEITY statue on the mantle and exit through the adjacent door.

Slice Fish with the Flails and ascend to the fourth floor.

Jump off the ledge below the fourth floor doorway to land on a smaller ledge.

Grab GOLDEN SCARAB #50 at the end of this ledge.

Return to the fourth floor doorway and enter.

In The Core - 4th Floor, equip the True Dragon Sword and defeat Crab Fiends with hard combos and Flying Swallows, then use Ultimate Techniques (UTs) or Explosive Arrows on Red dinos.

Place the RAPTOR DIETY statue on the mantle to clear The Core.

Exit through the adjacent door and slice Ghost Fish in the stairway.

Ascend the stairs to the top of the Imperial Palace Core.

Find two chests, a Save Point, and a TEAM NINJA logo.

SAVE your game at the Save Point.

If needed, return to Muramasa's Shop in Tairon.

Enter the portal to the Hellish Depths for a boss battle.

In the Hellish Depths, defeat the initial Shadow Fiends with counterattacks and UTs.

Defeat Hydracubus using the True Dragon Sword, similar to previous encounters.

After Hydracubus, more Shadow Fiends will appear, with Marbus occasionally tossing fireballs. Evade fireballs when Marbus laughs.

Defeat Yotunfrau, similar to the Ice Cavern encounter.

Face Marbus himself. Use Reverse Wind to evade his Kamikaze Dive and Kamikaze Punch, then counterattack with hard combos when he is vulnerable. Roll jump to evade Multiple Fireballs. Kill summoned Shadow Fiends with Izuna Drops and counterattacks. Use Ultimate Attacks on Marbus when essence is floating nearby.

After defeating Marbus, grab the DEMON DEITY statue.

Place the DEMON DEITY statue on the mantle across from the Save Point in the Imperial Palace Core to open the doors above.

SAVE your game.

If necessary, finish missed Enemy Ambushes or restock at Muramasa's Shop.

Go up the stairs above the Core until a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) is triggered.

Face The Emperor - Form 1. Dodge its melee swipe attack by moving away. For Laser Beam attacks, hold the Block Button and move the analog stick up or down to control the floating platform. To dodge diagonal beams, position Ryu between the laser paths or jump off the platform. For circular beams, move all the way back and away. Attack the three large Orbs (shoulders and chest) with hard combos like the Dragon Tear. Do not waste Ninpo.
