Part 44 of the Ninja Gaiden 4 walkthrough: Learn how to disable airship engines, overcome the Storage Room challenge, and defeat the boss Dynamo. Then, infiltrate the Imperial City.
Walkthrough
- 1Disable Engines & Deactivate Locks: Go to the side of the room, break the window, and enter the Engine Room. Destroy the engines to open Emergency locks. Exit and return to the Main Deck, eliminating any soldiers.
- 2Storage Room Challenge: Save at the Fore Cabin Save Point. Enter the previously locked Storage Room for an Enemy Challenge. HARD MODE NOTE: Expect 80 MSAT soldiers. Skipping this challenge means missing a Golden Scarab.
- 3Golden Scarab #2: Inside the Storage Room, jump to the top of the containers at the back to find a Golden Scarab. After collecting everything, go to Ryu's Cabin and SAVE.
- 4Head for Airship Rooftop: Go to the Main Cabin and open the double doors. Proceed down the hallway and open the metal door.
- 5Gas Compartment Passageway: Go up the metal stairway, eliminating the two MSAT soldiers with a Flying Swallow. Jump to the ledge walkway above the stairway to encounter more soldiers; eliminate them with counters.
- 6Golden Scarab #3: On the walkway above the metal stairs, find a large crate. Jump on it, then use a Bird Flip to reach a higher walkway with a hidden Golden Scarab. This scarab is missable.
- 7Clear the Ship: Continue past the ledges, eliminating enemies with Flying Swallows and commanders with Ultimate Techniques (UTs). Use a Bird Flip to reach another upper walkway and eliminate the final two soldiers.
- 8Deactivate Roof Door: Do not take the ladder to the roof directly. Use a continuous Bird Flip at the bottom of the ladder to find a small room with a lever to deactivate the roof door. Pull the lever.
- 9Prepare for Boss: Use the Save Point across from the ladder and SAVE your game. If needed, return to Muramasa's Statue now. Climb the ladder to face the boss.
- 10BOSS BATTLE: DYNAMO: HARD MODE NOTE: Dynamo will have MSAT soldiers assisting him.
- 11Chapter 4: Imperial City Infiltration: After the cutscene, SAVE your game. Encounter new enemies: Robotic M-SAT soldiers. Head down the alley to Twin Serpents Plaza (ignore the monument for now).
- 12Chest: To the left of the alley you came from, find a chest under an arch.
- 13Military Gates: Head for the other open alleyway, eliminate three soldiers, and open the large door. In the next area, make a left to find a dead body with a goodie. Across from the gates is another dead body with Arrows.
- 14Red-Jeweled Door: Approach the door with a single Red jewel. It will lock, and soldiers will appear. Prioritize the Grenadier soldier with a hard combo, then use UTs on the rest. The door unlocks after clearing the area.
- 15Dworku Alleyway: Upon entering, three soldiers will attack. Eliminate them.
- 16Obtain the Lunar: Go to the other end of the alley (ignore the stairway down for now). At the end of the zigzag alley, find the Lunar weapon in a large pot. Open the nearby gate for future access.
- 17Return and Descend: Go back to the Dworku Alleyway. The three soldiers will reappear. Eliminate or ignore them and go down the stairs. Take a right and proceed down the alley to the next stairway.
- 18Outer Clock Tower Square: As you approach the stairs, two soldiers will appear.
Tips
- Remember to save your game frequently at Save Points.
- The Golden Scarabs in the Storage Room and on the Gas Compartment Passageway walkway are missable.
- Utilize Flying Swallows and Ultimate Techniques (UTs) for efficient combat.
- Be prepared for enemy ambushes and challenges.
