Walkthrough

    Rescuing Charles:
    1. Inspect the files on the whiteboard to find the 'The End (5/8) | Robot Puppets' File.

    Interact with the large life support device and then the computer. Read all files on the PC desktop, paying attention to the diagram on the far right for a code clue.

    Interact with the chain console control panel. Adjust the coloured lamps to match the diagram from the computer. Press the purple/orange button twice, the yellow/green button once, and the blue button twice.

    Head down the newly appeared stairs into a Secret Corridor.

    In the secret room, examine the diary and then the Beta Type Consciousness Transmission Device to find the 'The End (6/8) | The Research Information of Consciousness Transmission Device' File.

    Speak with Charles. Grab the Crowbar from the far right of the room.

    Use the Crowbar on Charles's holding cell door. This will unlock the 'The Story of Rescuing the White Mustache' Trophy/Achievement.
  • Decision Time:
    1. You will be presented with two questions. The first choice has no impact, but the second choice determines which of two Achievements you unlock and affects access to a File.
    2. Turn it off: Choosing to 'Turn off the equipment' unlocks 'The Liberation' Trophy/Achievement and the 'The End (7/8) | The History Between Edward and Luna' File.
    3. Keep it on: Choosing to 'Leave the equipment on' unlocks 'The Benevolence' Trophy/Achievement. This choice prevents you from unlocking one of the endgame Files.
    4. After making your choice, you can skip ahead to 'The Final Confrontation'.
  • The Final Confrontation:
    1. Head back down to the secret room where you rescued Charles. There is no turning back after this point.
    • Tips
    • You can only unlock one of the two Achievements in the 'Decision Time' section per playthrough. Reload an earlier save file to unlock the other.
    • One of the endgame Files is only accessible if you choose to 'Turn off the equipment'.
