Walkthrough

    Rescuing Charles:
    • Inspect the files on the whiteboard near the entrance to find the "The End (5/8) - Robot Puppets" File.

    Interact with the large life support device and then the computer. Read all files on the PC desktop, especially the diagram on the far right, which is a clue for a code.

    Interact with the chain console control panel on the far left. Adjust the height of the coloured lamps to match the diagram from the computer. The puzzle is solved by:
    • Pressing the purple/orange button twice.

    Pressing the yellow/green button once.

    Pressing the blue button twice.

    A set of stairs will appear. Head down into the Secret Corridor.

    Enter the doorway at the far left end of the hall to find another secret room.

    Inspect the diary to the right of the doorway.

    Head left and inspect the Beta Type Consciousness Transmission Device to find the "The End (6/8) - The Research Information of Consciousness Transmission Device" File.

    Continue left and speak with Charles.

    Head to the far right of the room and grab the Crowbar.

    Return to Charles and use the Crowbar on the holding cell door. After a scene, you will unlock the "The Story of Rescuing the White Mustache" Trophy/Achievement.

    Decision Time:
    • You will be presented with two questions. The first answer has no impact. The second answer determines which of two Achievements you unlock. You cannot get both in a single playthrough without reloading. One of the endgame Files is also tied to this choice.

    Turn it off:
    • Choosing to "Turn off the equipment" unlocks the "The Liberation" Trophy/Achievement.

    This choice also unlocks the "The End (7/8) - The History Between Edward and Luna" File.

    You can then skip to "The Final Confrontation".

    Keep it on:
    • Choosing to "Leave the equipment on" unlocks the "The Benevolence" Trophy/Achievement.

    The Final Confrontation:
    • Regardless of your choice, you will need to return to the secret room where you rescued Charles. Head down the stairs when ready.
