- 1Rescuing Charles: Inspect the files on the whiteboard to find 'The End (5/8) - Robot Puppets'. Interact with the large life support device and then the computer. Read all files on the PC, paying attention to the diagram on the far right for a code. Return to the far left and interact with the chain console control panel. Adjust the colored lamps to match the diagram: press the purple/orange button twice, the yellow/green button once, and the blue button twice. Descend the stairs that appear. In the Secret Corridor, examine the courier clothes, then enter the doorway at the far left. In the secret room, examine the diary, then inspect the Beta Type Consciousness Transmission Device to find 'The End (6/8) - The Research Information of Consciousness Transmission Device'. Speak with Charles, then grab the Crowbar from the far right of the room. Use the Crowbar on Charles's holding cell door to unlock the 'The Story of Rescuing the White Mustache' Trophy/Achievement.
- 2Decision Time: Return to the secret lab with Charles. The first question has no impact, but the second choice determines which of two Achievements you unlock and affects a new endgame File. To unlock both Achievements, reload an earlier save file (labeled 'Inside a secret room').
- Turn it off: Choosing this unlocks 'The Liberation' Trophy/Achievement and 'The End (7/8) - The History Between Edward and Luna' File. Interact with the life support device and proceed to 'The Final Confrontation'.
- 3Keep it on: Choosing this unlocks 'The Benevolence' Trophy/Achievement. You will NOT unlock the new endgame File. Proceed to 'The Final Confrontation'.
