Efficient Room Clearing

Rescuing Charles: Inspect the whiteboard files for the first File ('The End (5/8) | Robot Puppets'). Interact with the large life support device and then the computer to its right. Read all PC desktop files, especially the diagram on the far right, which is a clue for a code. Return to the far left and interact with the chain console control panel. Adjust the height of the colored lamps to match the diagram from the computer by pressing the first three buttons a specific number of times: purple/orange twice, yellow/green once, and blue twice. This will reveal stairs leading down. In the Secret Corridor, examine the courier clothes. Enter the doorway at the far left into another secret room. Examine the diary to the right of the doorway. Head left and inspect the Beta Type Consciousness Transmission Device for the second File ('The End (6/8) | The Research Information of Consciousness Transmission Device'). Speak with Charles, then grab the Crowbar from the far right of the room. Use the Crowbar on Charles' holding cell door. This will unlock the 'The Story of Rescuing the White Mustache' Trophy/Achievement.

Decision Time: You will be presented with two questions. The first answer has no impact. The second choice determines which of two Achievements you unlock. You cannot get both in one playthrough without reloading a save. One choice also unlocks a missable File.

• Turn it off: Choosing this unlocks 'The Liberation' Trophy/Achievement and the File 'The End (7/8) | The History Between Edward and Luna'.

Keep it on: Choosing this unlocks 'The Benevolence' Trophy/Achievement. This choice prevents you from unlocking the aforementioned File.

The Final Confrontation: Regardless of your choice, you will need to return to the secret room where you rescued Charles. Head down the stairs when ready.
