Timed Dodges

Timed Dodges are defensive maneuvers in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga that, when executed correctly, allow you to avoid getting hit by nearly any enemy attack.

Bros. Attacks

The "Bros." option on your command menu (the menu that appears during battles) allows you to use both brothers as a team to perform a more powerful attack on a targeted enemy. You will learn various types of these attacks throughout the course of the game. Each attack has 3 modes, with Mode 3 being more rewarding than Mode 1.

When a Bros. Attack is performed, you are prompted in slow-motion (for Mode 1) or normal speed (for Modes 2 and 3) when to press the A or B buttons (the primary action buttons) to initiate.
