Stardust Fields

After falling to earth, Luigi will pull Mario from the ground.

Head west and use the Save Album (a form of saving your progress).

Enter the border house and meet the Hammer Bros.

Play their Border Jump game: jump over the rope they hold as they move back and forth.

If either brother misses 3 times, the game ends and you must retry. You MUST win to proceed.

After winning, continue west across the bridge.

The Hammer Bros will stop you and give you a Beanbean Map as a reward for crossing the border.

Continue to a giant Warp Pipe (a fast travel point). Walk into it to activate it.

Exit the pipe and continue south.

Read the sign and use teamwork to jump over lines of spikes to the east.

Hit the box at the end to get a Mushroom (an item that restores health or provides other benefits).

Do the same below, going west, to get a second Mushroom from a box.

Continue across a bridge and into the next area.

Go south and defeat Fighter Fly enemies.

Ignore the upper ledges with floating blocks for now.

Save your game.

Jump up the steps to find Bowser stuck in a giant cannon.

Tolstar, king of Stardust Fields, appears and demands all your Coins to free Bowser.

Mario gives up his Coins, but they are not valid in the Beanbean Kingdom.

You need 100 Beanbean Coins to free Bowser. Tolstar opens a bridge and makes you leave.

Take the bridge to the next area, then follow the path to the following area.

In this area, defeat Fighter Flies, hit the lone block, and hit the Bros. Block (a special block that can be hit multiple times) back and forth to get Coins.

In the east area, drop down ledges to a low area and hit a block for 7 Coins.

Go right and hit a second block for a Mushroom.

Defeat the Fighter Fly and its Bill Blaster companions for some Coins.

Go right, jump up ledges, fall down the other side, and enter the next area.

Hit the block to get a Syrup (an item that restores special ability points).

Go forward and jump on the in-ground star door.

The Starshade Bros appear and take you to a training ground to learn Bros. Actions (special cooperative moves).

Practice the High Jump and Spin Jump via onscreen prompts.

You will be returned to where you met the Starshade Bros. They want you to master these abilities to reach a flag on a high ledge.

Make your way up, hitting a block just before the final ledge for a Mushroom.

Once you reach the flag, the bros salute and retreat.

Continue left and hit a block for another Syrup.

Drop down and go to the south area.

Fight Fighter Flies and Bill Blasters for Coins.

Go right and up steps to fight more enemies for Coins.

Use the High Jump on the north ledge and hit 2 blocks for a Syrup and 1 Coin.

Go south to another ledge with a lone block; High Jump to it and hit the block for 7 Coins.

Return to the southwest section and save.

High Jump atop an oil drum, then onto a high ledge by a Bros. Block. Hit the Bros. Block for Coins.

Go left into that area.

The Starshade Bros teach you the Bros. Actions command in battle and how to use Bros. Points (BP).

Go into the west area.

Drop down and defeat 4 sets of enemies for Coins.

High Jump to a ledge with a block containing 8 Coins.

Go left and High Jump to hit a Bros. Block for more Coins.

Ensure you have around 100 Coins to progress.

Go up the steps to the top area.

You can go left on the regular path or right onto yellow blocks.

On yellow blocks, hold the Control Pad in your desired direction and press A/B alternatively to jump across a pit.

Reach the ledge and hit a block for Coins if desired.

Head back left into that area.

In this area, you can go north and east to the first area to use High Jump to reach a ledge with 3 blocks containing Coins and a Mushroom.

Visit Tolstar. He will take the 100 Coins.

Tolstar will then fly over and attack you. (Refer to the Bosses section for help).

After the fight, a guy lights the cannon fuse, and Bowser rockets away.

Save your game.

Go west and High Jump to get to the next area.

Follow the bridges around the corner to another Save Album; use it.

Enter the cave.

Use a High Jump to reach a ledge with a Mushroom in a block.

Hit the second block to the west for another Mushroom.

Go south to Hoohoo Village.
