    Upon arrival, you will see 6 crew ships, Bishop 1 through 6, and an enemy carrier in the center of the map. Wait for all your bombers to launch and activate the ATI/TO (Tactical Action Bar) by pressing [TAB]. Immediately command your bombers to attack the fighter facility on the carrier. To do this, [ALT] drag select the facility and use the '2' hotkey, then right-click on the fighter facility.

    Turn your view to the right to locate the first transport. Use hotkey 1 to drag attack the red marks around the first transport.

    Begin construction of a new collector (coll) and, once completed, instruct it to start harvesting.

    After the first transport is secured, divide your interceptors (ints) into two groups. Send two to attack the top-right red dots on the sensors manager near Bishop 2. Send the other two to attack the middle-right red dots. Ensure all your fighters and bombers are set to aggressive mode.

    Once the fighter facility is destroyed, recall the bombers using the dock command. Be aware that the Vaygr carrier's new damage output will make them vulnerable.

    As soon as the collector is out of the hangar, start constructing two more interceptors. When the first transport has docked and you receive the notification for new upgrades, begin construction on that facility. Once the two new interceptors are finished, send them to defend the bottom-left transport. After the original four interceptors finish eliminating the attackers near Bishops 2 and 3, dispatch them to assist Bishop 5 (middle-left), which will be in worse condition.

    A small group of frigates will hyper in and attack one of your transports. Captain Soban will intervene, causing them to engage him instead. With the new interceptors finishing off fighters near Bishop 4, redirect them to take over the original four interceptors' task. Then, send the original four interceptors to assist Bishop 6 if necessary. Send the bombers back to attack the carrier's engines.

    By this point, the right and left sides should be clear, and the carrier should be taking damage as it attempts to escape. The frigates should be destroyed thanks to Captain Soban. Once the Vette facility is complete, begin constructing a gunship squadron. Send all interceptors to destroy any remaining bombers and fighters. Once all enemy air units are gone, direct all interceptors to attack the carrier's hull.

    With the carrier disabled, send all your units back using the dock command, leaving Captain Soban to deal with it. This is a good time to begin research on fighters. If you successfully saved 5 transports, you will receive 2 elite bomber squadrons. Saving 6 transports will reward you with 2 elite gunship squadrons.
Tips
  • To create time for research after destroying the carrier's fighter facility, command your bombers to move a distance away from the carrier and set them to evasive mode by pressing [F2].
  • Use the minimap (radar (your minimap with nearby blips and threats marked) display) to keep track of enemy movements and your unit positions.
  • Set all fighters and bombers to aggressive mode for maximum offensive capability.
