Alternatively, when the boat is upgraded, you can go to [Moon Island](https://havendock.fandom.com/wiki/Moon_Island "Moon Island") and purchase cotton seeds from the trader at the bottom (round the corner from the dock) which can then be farmed same as other crops. However, you will need to repeatedly purchase them as no way to obtain a supply of seeds otherwise.
How do I insert materials/obtain output from farms, cookhouses etc. without opening the GUI?	Shift+right-click to place materials in the building, Ctrl+right-click to extract outputs e.g. milk from barns
