Look for the trader near the dock (just around the corner) and buy cotton seeds from them. You can then farm these seeds just like any other crop. Keep in mind, you'll need to keep buying seeds because there's no way to get a sustainable supply otherwise.

Getting Milk: To get milk, you'll first need cows. You can buy them from the farmer located on Cow Island. After you've got your cows, you'll need to build Barns for them. These barns will act as both the input for your cows and the output for the milk.
