Getting Cotton:

If you're trying to get your hands on some cotton, there are a couple of ways to go about it. Your first bet is to set up some scavenging tents and assign your settlers to collect them. It's a pretty straightforward way to get a steady supply. Alternatively, once you've upgraded your boat, you can head over to Moon Island. There's a trader down by the docks (just around the corner) who sells cotton seeds. You can then farm these like any other crop. Just a heads-up, though: you'll need to keep buying seeds from the trader, as there's no other way to get more seeds once you've used them up.

Getting Milk:

Need some milk? Easy peasy. You'll want to head over to Cow Island and buy some cows from the farmer there. Once you have your cows, you'll need to build Barns for them. These barns will act as both the input (for the cows) and the output for the milk. Just make sure you're managing your barns correctly to keep the milk flowing!
