From a single patrol car to heavily armed SWAT teams and even military intervention, knowing these tiers helps you strategize your escapes and plan your criminal endeavors more effectively.

Wanted Level 1-2: Patrol Cars

At the lowest levels of notoriety, you'll primarily encounter standard police patrol cars. They are relatively easy to evade, especially if you have a fast vehicle and know the city's layout. These officers are armed with pistols and will attempt to ram your vehicle. Focus on breaking line of sight and using alleys or tight turns to lose them.

Wanted Level 3-4: Increased Patrols & Detectives

As your wanted level climbs to 3 and 4, the police presence intensifies. You'll see more patrol cars, and detective vehicles may start appearing. These detectives are more persistent and can be a greater threat. It's advisable to start using more evasive driving techniques and consider finding a Pay 'n' Spray to wash off your wanted level.

Wanted Level 5-6: SWAT & Helicopters

Reaching wanted levels 5 and 6 sifies serious trouble. SWAT teams will deploy, armed with shotguns and submachine guns, and will actively try to corner you. Police helicopters will also begin to patrol the skies, spotting you from above and relaying your position to ground units. At this stage, a Pay 'n' Spray is almost mandatory, or you'll need to find a safe house to hide in.

Wanted Level 7: Military Intervention (Roadblock)

The highest wanted level, 7, brings out the military. Expect roadblocks and heavily armed soldiers. Tanks may even appear, capable of destroying your vehicle in a single shot. Escaping this level of response requires exceptional driving skills, a very fast vehicle, and a deep understanding of the map's escape routes. Often, the best strategy is to immediately head for a Pay 'n' Spray or a safe house if one is within immediate reach.

Tips for Evading Police:

• Know the Map: Familiarize yourself with alleys, underpasses, and shortcuts.
• Fast Vehicles: Invest in or steal fast cars like the Cheetah or Infernus.
• Pay 'n' Spray: Locate these shops to instantly remove your wanted level.
• Safe Houses: Entering a safe house will also clear your wanted level.
• Avoid Confrontation: Don't engage directly with police if you can avoid it.
