Alright, let's talk about getting 100% completion in Grand Theft Auto III, specifically focusing on those sometimes-frustrating Rampages. The biggest headache with these is that the game doesn't always spawn enough targets, even if you're in the right spot doing everything perfectly. It's a bit of a gamble sometimes, but we'll go through each one so you know exactly what to do.

We're going to cover the six Rampages found on Portland Island. For each one, I'll give you the location, how to get there, and the best way to tackle it.

Portland Island Rampages

Here are the details for each Rampage on Portland Island:

#[R1] - Kill 20 Mafia (AK-47)

Location A: St. Mark's

Where: You'll find this one between the car garages just east of Cipriani's Ristorante.

Directions: Start at the four-way intersection southwest of Cipriani's. Head north on the sidewalk, then turn right at the corner. Keep going up the sidewalk and the hill. You'll see a ledge with a Health Icon on your right. Continue up until you reach a driveway cutting across the block. Turn right onto this driveway, and the garages should be on your left. The Rampage is between them.

Strategy: Activate the Rampage and then head up to the driveway entrance of Salvatore's Mansion. The Mafia are super aggressive here, so they'll swarm you. Use the wall near the entrance for cover while you take out the ones closest to you. Then, carefully move around the wall to get the ones stuck on the other side. Once they're dealt with, go back behind the wall to pick off any that spawn near the entrance. Just repeat this until you hit 20 kills.

Location B: St. Mark's

Where: This Rampage is in one of the backyards along an alleyway south of Cipriani's Ristorante.

Directions: From the four-way intersection southwest of Cipriani's, go south a bit and turn left into the alley right next to a shop with a green awning. Go down the alley, turn left at the first opening, and then left again. The Rampage will be against the wall there.

Strategy: It's pretty much the same deal as the first one. Activate it and use the environment to your advantage.

#[R2] - Murder 30 Diablos (M-16)

Location A: Red Light District

Where: This Rampage is in the alley at the base of the stairs leading up to Woody's Topless Club, which is across the street east of Sex Club 7.

Strategy: Grab a car before you start this one. Activate the Rampage, then drive down towards the Apartments. The Diablos won't spawn as much right where you started. Once you're in the apartment area, pick them off as they appear. Like the Mafia, they tend to rush you. The good news is they're often unarmed or only have baseball bats, so they don't hit too hard and are easy targets when they charge.

Location B: Chinatown

Where: You'll find this one in the corner on the west side of the Old School.

Strategy: Similar to the last one, bring a car. Activate the Rampage, drive out to the street, and start taking them down from your vehicle.

#[R3] - Destroy 10 Vehicles (Grenades)

Location A: St. Mark's

Where: This Rampage is located on the elevated train tracks, north of the four-way intersection near Sweeney General Hospital.

Strategy: First, you need to get a vehicle up onto the train tracks. Drive up the stairs leading to the Portland View El-Train Station in St. Mark's and maneuver it onto the tracks. Once you have your car up there, activate the Rampage. Drop a grenade near your car and then get off the tracks. This takes care of one vehicle. Now, run to nearby cars, drop a grenade in front of them, and run away to avoid the blast. Head towards Portland Harbor, cutting through the SupaSave! Store parking lot and blowing up cars there. Continue towards the harbor, destroying any vehicles you see. Once you reach the harbor, blow up all the parked cars to finish this Rampage.

Location B: Trenton

Where: It's on the elevated train tracks north of Joey's Auto Painting.

Strategy: You'll do something similar here. If you need more vehicles, you can blow up the two cars in the AM Petroleum Company parking lot, which is southeast of your position.

#[R4] - Kill 20 Triads (Shotgun)

Location A: Trenton

Where: This Rampage is in the alley between Liberty Pharmaceuticals and Mean Street Taxis.

Strategy: Activate it and head into the street to take on the Triads. Since you're using a Shotgun, you'll need to get up close, which can be tricky because the Triads will swarm you and some have pistols. However, the Shotgun is powerful, usually taking them down in one hit at close range, making it manageable even though they can chip away at your health and armor.

Location B: Portland View

Where: It's on the ledge on the east side of Sweeney General Hospital.

Strategy: Just like the previous location, activate it and go to work.

#[R5] - Kill 25 Triads (Micro SMG)

Location A: Chinatown

Where: You'll find this one by the stairs in the middle of the China Building.

Strategy: The Micro SMG is great for drive-bys. Get in a car and start taking out the Triads. Be careful though: if you stay in Chinatown too long, you might have to deal with angry Triad Fish Vans, so you might need to leave the area briefly to avoid them.
