BOSS: Ogre King, Wicked Shrub (2)

Master the Ogre King, Wicked Shrub (2) boss fight in Eternal Strands! Learn their attacks, weaknesses, and the best strategy to secure victory and rare loot.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Ogre King HP: 571,110 (Recommended Level: 47)
• Wicked Shrub HP: 590,770
• Ogre King Attacks: Earth Strike (knockdown), Guillotine (3 hits, ~800/800/1700+ damage), Big Crush (AoE from sword)
• Wicked Shrub Attacks: Dander Cloud (poison AoE, 2100+ damage, can be blocked/countered), Mushroom Brawl (AoE attack)
• Tip: Accessories like Recovery Gloves can help mitigate poison effects.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Both Bosses Active
   - Keep Viola near the center of the room. The low light makes it hard to see, so staying central helps.
2. Phase 2: Wicked Shrub Defeated
   - All party members focus on the Ogre King.

Strategy:

• This fight features two powerful enemies, unlike previous encounters where one was much weaker. Both have substantial HP pools.
• Prioritize defeating the Wicked Shrub first to prevent it from poisoning your entire party with Dander Cloud.
• Don't have all three party members attack the Wicked Shrub at once. Instead, have two focus on the Shrub while the third keeps the Ogre King occupied. This prevents you from turning your back on the Ogre King and getting hit.
• Viola should engage the Wicked Shrub up close, as running is difficult. Use Heal Arrow or Night Arrow as needed.
• Your second character should assist Viola in attacking the Wicked Shrub.
• The third party member's role is to distract the Ogre King.
• If you have HP-restoring accessories equipped, direct healing might not be your top priority.
• Once the Wicked Shrub is defeated, shift all three party members' focus to the Ogre King.
• Build up Echoes and use your three-chain Harmony Chains to quickly defeat the Ogre King.
• Reward: Upon defeating both bosses, you will receive Tyr's Left Arm, Eye of Horus, and Thiassi's Bone.
