Area 4

Your guide to navigating Area 4 of Eternal Strands, including finding items and progressing through Glissando Cliffs and Forte City.

Alright, let's get through Area 4! First things first, head down the rope and make your way through that big cave on your left. Once you pop out the other side of the cliff, you'll need to do some jumping over gaps. Keep going until you reach a cave at the very end – this one's going to take you down a whole level. After that, head to the next cliff, then just walk around the side of the rock. You'll find a chest there with a Larkspur Robe. Grab it, then head back to the other side of the cliff and slide down the vines.

As soon as you land, run to the left. You'll trigger a scene where a kid named Phil gets himself stuck in a tree. Don't worry, the party helps him out, and he'll thank you. After that, you'll find yourselves back at the top of Glissando Cliffs. Now, if you're really after a Celestial Hourglass (and trust me, it's a really nice item), you'll need to head back to that tree where Phil was stuck. It's a bit of a trek, so it's totally up to you if you want to make that detour. Once you're done with whatever you decide, it's time to backtrack to Forte City.

FORTE CITY

When you arrive in Forte City, the first thing you should do is save your game. Stock up on any items you might need, and then head to the inn. You'll get a cutscene there, and Phil will let you rest up for free. Once morning comes, it's time to head to the Castle Gate to continue your journey.
