Dungeon Keeper 2 "SCAVENGER" - Goldenglade: Defeat Lord Bramble and Malachi, amass an Undead army, and find the Portal Gem. No Portal available.
Walkthrough
- 1Dig and excavate east from your starting position to release trapped skeletons who will join you. Continue excavating areas to the right until you have enough space to set up a training room.
- 2As soon as you uncover and claim the graveyard, dwarf incursions will become frequent. Your skeletons will easily kill the low-level dwarves. Without a prison, your Imps will drag the bodies to the graveyard for resurrection.
- 3Build a library near the graveyard for vampires to research and to store magical items.
- 4Build Lairs near the library and training room. Slaughter enough dwarves to create your full complement of eight or more vampires.
- 5Build a small casino to prevent vampires from getting bored.
- 6Build a prison and Torture Chamber. Capture and torture enemy guards to convert them; you should be able to get around five from attacks on the Keep.
- 7Build bridges to allow your Imps to excavate land to the east and west for gold and to increase mana per turn.
- 8Once your Imps reach the walls of Malachi's keep, stop excavating and do not breach the walls.
- 9After collecting all available gold, storm Brambles Keep. Your Imps may be lost to spike traps, but your Vampires can quickly deal with them and the cannons. Break down all doors and claim all rooms, then sell them off for cash.
- 10Attack Malachi either from the front by bashing down the door or from the side by breaching the walls, which leads closer to his Dungeon Heart.
- 11Send your skeletons in first to frighten weaker creatures. Use special spells like "Make Enemies Unhappy" and "Stun Imps" if available.
- 12Drop all your Imps in with the skeletons, followed by your Vampires. If you have eight level 4 Vampires, you should have nothing to fear. If they die, quickly bring them back into the fray.
- 13Begin claiming rooms and move towards the Dungeon Heart. Drop any converted guards in and cast "Call to Arms" by the enemy heart to keep their focus.
- 14Your Vampires will terrify Malachi's forces, allowing your Guards and Skeletons to finish them off while your Imps continue claiming rooms. The Dungeon Heart will fall to your Vampires' blows.
Tips
- Excavate West to find a large graveyard that can support 8 vampires.
- If you have the cash, excavate the wall at the bottom of the Graveyard and add another row to increase the number of vampires supported to eleven.
- When a Vampire is killed, it reincarnates in the graveyard minus a level. Ensure they train, as a level one Vampire is destroyed when killed.
- Magical items you may find include Stun Enemy Imps, Make Enemies Unhappy, Restore Health x2, and Cash.
- If your Vampires die, click on the creature panels to bring them back into the fray quickly.
