    Upon arriving in Burnmont, exit and travel to Emberdale.

    Speak with the people at three of the four braziers in the village corners to spawn monsters. Defeat all spawned monsters.

BOSS - Fire Spirit

The Fire Spirit has several fire-based attacks. Use Magic Barrier and Insulatle to mitigate damage. His attacks include a fire breath (40-50 damage to all), a flame ball (around 160 damage to one target), Kafrizzle (around 80 damage to all), Frizzle (around 50 damage to all), War Cry (can cause a character to lose a turn), and a magma summon (70-80 damage to all). The strategy of using Oomph and Knuckle Sandwich from the Demon King battle is effective. Use the Sage’s Stone or Multiheal for healing.

Talk to the lady blocking the stairs, then speak with your mother at the docks. Speak with the Mayor, then board the ship and go below deck, speaking with the Mayor again.

The giant ship is the Sea Dragon. Once you regain control, you can explore it.

Sea Dragon Exploration:

  • South of your starting room, find a Pirate’s Hat in a drawer.
  • In the room with the stairs, find a Captain’s Coat in a drawer.
  • Go up the stairs and through the door on the left to find shops with expensive but useful equipment.
  • Break the pots in the kitchen for Mini Medal (#98).
  • Check the drawers in the northwestern room for another Captain’s Coat.
  • Go through the southeasternmost door and descend the stairs.
  • Break the barrels in front of you for a Seed of Strength.
  • Talk to the cat nearby and answer “yes” to its question to receive a Mini Medal (#99).
  • Enter the room above and smash the pots for 20 gold coins.
  • Pry open the chest in the same room for an Enclosure Plan.
  • Enter the jail area and take a Turban from a drawer.
  • Go up the stairs to the ship’s deck.
  • Break the barrels on the right side of the ship for Pilchard Crackers.
  • Return to the man guarding a ladder and speak with him to disembark near Alltrades Abbey.
  • After exploring, return to the ship and speak with Tarr at the helm to sail back to Estard Island.
