    Boss Battle - Putric and Thieves: This battle involves four enemies. Swagman can inflict confusion and deals 20-25 damage to the party with rock attacks. The Brigand uses physical attacks, can power up his next attack, and can blind the party. The Rogue uses Sizzle (hits all party members) and physical attacks. Putric uses physical attacks, poison breath, and an MP-draining dance. Use Edged Boomerangs on the Hero and Ruff if available. Have Maribel focus on healing from the start, and the Hero should heal if needed.

    Thieves' Hideout: After the battle, the thieves flee to a cave west of the ruins. Follow them quickly (going through poison speeds up the process) to overhear their password.
