The Tower

Fight the Golem. It only uses a physical attack that deals around 11-12 damage at level 5. Hanlon can help by using Sap to reduce the Golem's defense. Use Flame Slash with Kiefer, Frizz with Maribel, and attack with the Hero when healing isn't needed.

Defeat the Golem to receive a Green Fragment.

Return to Ballymolloy to refill HP and MP and purchase new equipment from the vendor.

Head back to The Tower and enter the door the Golem was blocking.

Progress through the first two screens, taking the stairs to the next area.

In the third area, open the chest at the northern end for a Bronze Knife (equip to Maribel). Collect the Red Fragment next to it.

Take the northeastern stairs to a small room with a chest containing a Leather Shield and a pot with 5 gold coins.

Return to the previous room and take the other stairs.

Follow the path to a large room with multiple paths; head straight to the stairs to the next floor.

On the next floor, open two chests containing a Seed of Resilience and 80 gold coins.

Take the stairs to reach the room with the next boss.

Fight the Crabble-rouser. It can defend, mitigating damage. Use skills like Maribel's Frizz. Its attacks include a physical attack dealing around 15 damage and Frizz. Keep your health up with Hero's Heal and Medicinal Herbs. Hanlon's physical attacks and Sap are also useful.

After defeating Crabble-rouser, a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) will play, revealing the culprit, leading to the boss fight against Maeve.

Fight Maeve. She primarily defends and wastes turns. Attack her until she is defeated. You can use the Wooden Doll item to end the battle immediately.

After plot developments, the land around Ballymolloy is freed from darkened skies. Exit The Tower and return to Ballymolloy.

Talk to Patrick in front of his house. After scenes, Hanlon will leave your party.

Check the forest to find Patrick by the gravestones and give him the Wooden Doll if you wish.

Return to where you first dropped into this area to find a portal that will bring you back to your era.
