Automaton Stronghold

Before facing the main boss, you must defeat three smaller Automatons.

The Tinpot Dictator will then appear. He has only physical attacks that deal around 11-12 damage to a single character. He will also summon more Automatons during the fight. Focus your attacks on the Tinpot Dictator and ignore the summoned Automatons until the boss is defeated.

After defeating the Tinpot Dictator, clean up any remaining Automatons.

The true boss of the Automaton Stronghold is the Slaughtomaton.

The Slaughtomaton can use a flashing skill that may Dazzle your party, making physical attacks less accurate.

It can also use Magic Barrier to increase its resistance to magic.

A fire breath attack hits all party members for about 5-10 damage.

Its normal physical attack deals around 25-30 damage to a single character.

Its most dangerous attack is a powerful physical strike that deals around 45-50 damage to a single character.

The Slaughtomaton can sometimes resist Maribel's Sap spell, so you may need to cast it multiple times for it to land.

Heal your party when necessary and continue attacking the Slaughtomaton until it is defeated.

After saving the land of Faraday, exit the dungeon and return to the castle.

Speak with the king in the throne room to receive a Poison Moth Knife as a reward.

In the officers' mess, speak with Wallop to receive an additional reward of 1200 gold coins.

Return to the portal to travel back to the present era.
