Grotto del Sigillo

You'll find yourself in the Grotto del Sigillo facing the Hackrobat. Thankfully, the Woodcutter will join your party for this fight and can toss out some helpful healing items.

Keep an eye on the Hackrobat, especially when its body shines brightly. This indicates it's about to use a move that can Dazzle your characters, making them unable to hit accurately. If this happens, just wait it out, or if it's someone like the Hero or Maribel, they can still cast spells since Dazzle doesn't affect magic.

The Hackrobat has a few key attacks: it can summon a flurry of wind sickles that deal around 25 damage to a single character, and it has a standard physical attack that hits for about 13-15 damage.

To start the battle effectively, have Maribel use Sap twice on the Hackrobat. This will lower its defenses, making all your subsequent attacks deal more damage.

Whenever your party needs healing, have the Hero or Maribel cast Heal. If your Hero has reached Level 12, they'll learn Midheal, which is significantly more powerful and can restore a good chunk of HP.

Be aware that the Hackrobat can sometimes get two turns in a single round. This is particularly dangerous if it uses two wind sickle attacks in a row, potentially dealing around 50 damage to one character.

Once the Hackrobat is defeated and sealed away, the curse on L’Arca will be lifted. You'll be automatically transported back to town.

After returning to L’Arca, Ruff will run off again. Head back to the building where you first met him and speak with the farmer inside.

When you exit the house, Ruff will be waiting for you. He's decided to join your party, and you'll be heading back to your own time, with Ruff now as a permanent member!
