Walkthrough
  1. 1
Part 27 Start: Jump onto a ledge to find SECRET 12.4 and ELITE GUARD 12.3, along with a Munitions Crate. Take the elevator back up.
  2. 2
Neural Networks: Wait on the platform until you reach a dramatic area. Disable the Neural Networks on the left and right to earn 5 bonus Weapon Upgrade points.
  3. 3
VEGA Central Processing: Go to the center console. Pick up CODEX ENTRY "Environments / VEGA Central Processing". Interact with the screen to trigger a cutscene that ends the level.
  4. 4
Mission 13: Argent D'Nur - Introduction: You begin in a large upper courtyard with scattered loot. Proceed to a CHECKPOINT for the first fight.
  5. 5
Mission 13: Fight - Sniper then Berserk: Start at an overlook and deal with a Cacodaemon and Imps. Jump down to the courtyard to defeat the Imps. A wave of 2 Hell Knights and a Summoner, followed by 2 Pinkies and many Imps, will appear. Use a BFG when many demons are spawned, then grab the Berserk Powerup from the center. Exit via the waypoint and CHECKPOINT near the blue teleporter.
  6. 6
Mission 13: Fight - Intro Stairs: Before descending, observe the statues feeding a central entity. Descend to the next level with Unwilling. Face the canyon and find a Skull Switch on the right. Activate it, then climb blocks on the other side to find a cave with Gas and BFG Ammo: SECRET 13.3. Return to the lowest area.
  7. 7
Optional Path (Left): Through the tunnel to the left, taking armor triggers a Cacodaemon, 2 Imps, and a Hell Knight.
  8. 8
Optional Path (Right): A rocky staircase leads up to the Auto-Map for this level.
  9. 9
Mission 13: Fight - Stragglers on the Islands: Jump across the gorge, watching for 2 Lost Souls and a Cacodaemon. Jump down and across the canyon. Jump to the next island where 2 Cacodaemons will appear one at a time. Climb to the upper level of the island to find the next jump target. Continue to an area with left and right branches; the waypoint leads left, but go right to find 2 Imps and armor. Return to the left route and jump around the giant stalactite. Drop down to trigger a CHECKPOINT.
  10. 10
Mission 13: Fight - Wraith Fight 1: From the cliff, snipe Imps and a Hell Knight. Descend into the arena for a fight with 6 Pinkies and 2+ Hell Knights and a Cacodaemon. A Mega Health is available after the CHECKPOINT. A Quad-Damage Powerup is also present.
  11. 11
Post-Fight 1: Collect gear and find a Mega Health near the first Wraith's Soul. Two parallel stairways lead up. The left stairway has a Skull Switch; press it. Jump to the high platform on the far side of the entrance (with BFG ammo) and then into the pale green mouth of a demon statue.
  12. 12
SECRET 13.2: Immediately past the mouth, turn right into a passage that opens after the Skull Switch is pressed. Find Gas and BFG Ammo here.
  13. 13
SECRET 13.5: Continue down the secret passage, look for bloodsmears and a lever on the left wall. Interact with the lever to open SECRET 13.5, CLASSIC MAP 13.1 "Doom - Pandemonium".
  14. 14
Mission 13: Fight - Wraith Fight 2: Snipe a Hell Knight and 2 Imps from the cliff before engaging.
Tips
  • Combat Challenges: For "Hold Still", use the BFG when both Barons are in sight. "Uncharted Territory" requires following the guide. "Big [REDACTED] Gun" is often obtained naturally; enable Ammo Boost II for more BFG ammo.
  • Berserk Powerup: The "Seek and Destroy" and "Savagery" Runes might enhance the Berserk powerup, though the effect may not be very noticeable.
  • Optional Fights: The optional fights in Mission 13 offer opportunities to practice with specific weapons like the Gauss Cannon or Super Shotgun, and can be made easier with a chainsaw on Hell Knights.
  • Wraith Fights: Utilize sniping from cliffs for initial enemies. The Gauss Cannon's Precision Shot upgrade is useful here. The Quad-Damage Powerup is available in Wraith Fight 1.
