In the anteroom to Olivia's Lab, find CODEX ENTRY "UAC Personnel / Olivia Pierce".

In Olivia's Private Lab, interact with a screen after grabbing BFG Ammo, a Munitions Crate, and ARGENT CELL 9.1. Interact with a dilapidated computer to get the Combat Challenge "Demon Destruction".

Return to the circular archive room for Mission 9: Fight: Circular Archive Room, facing endless Imps, Hell Knights, a Mancubus, and Cacodaemons.

After the fight, a circular stairway descends.

Proceed to Mission 9: Fight: Small fight in Bloody Temple / Pew Area, clearing Possessed Securities and The Possesseds. Armor is available behind you.

Jump back out and interact with the "Cycle Hatch" waypoint. Jump onto the platform to be lifted up.

Drop down and enter the "Maintenance Only" door for Mission 9: Fight: Server Hall, fighting Possessed Securities, a Pinkie, and more The Possesseds.

Continue through the increasingly bloody hallway to Mission 9: Server Hall. Interact with the energy refractor control terminal to open twin doors.

Enter Mission 9: Fight: Two-Level Lounges, fighting Imps, Possessed Soldiers, and The Possessed.

After clearing the area, find a bloody duct in the upper-floor lounge on the right to access SECRET 9.9, RUNE CHALLENGE 9.2, "Saving Throw". Find ELITE GUARD 9.4 nearby.

Proceed to the large silo for Mission 9: Portal Area Fight. Enter the narrow hallway and teleporter.

Before teleporting, equip In-Flight Mobility. Enter the teleporter and immediately jump back to land on a shelf. Use the BFG for the "Thread The Needle" Combat Challenge.

Use the Plasma Gun / Heat Blast and grab the Haste Powerup. Use another BFG if needed. Grab the Quad Powerup when Pinkies or Hell Knights appear.

Follow waypoints for Mission 9: Prepare for Boss fight, grabbing supplies and CODEX ENTRY "Monsters / Cyberdemon". You will receive 6 bonus Weapon Upgrade Points.

Tips

The "Rich Get Richer" Rune can be upgraded cheaply by repeatedly picking up the Mega-Health in the backstage area and dying to reset the checkpoint.
For the Portal Area Fight, using the BFG from the shelf after the teleporter is an effective strategy for the "Thread The Needle" Combat Challenge and the fight itself.
