Fly up to the top of the tower where Lanky played his mini-game, go past the top, and land on the second cloud to grab a banana bunch (100). Hop back to the tower and enter the Bonus Barrel.

    Enter the Big Bug Bash mini-game.

    Use the joystick to move the fly swatter and press A to swat.

    Kill ten flies within 60 seconds. Lead your shots and move the swatter irregularly, especially in diagonal directions (northwest, northeast, southwest, southeast).

Drop to the bottom of the tower and head to Snide's. Exchange your blueprint for a GOLDEN BANANA (5). You'll also get a DK Isle GOLDEN BANANA (4) from the Kasplat in the level lobby.

Head to the top of the path and use Bananaport #5, then #4 to reach the greenhouse. Turn around and enter the Troff n' Scoff Portal. Head up the Banana Pad and feed Scoff 100 bananas with Diddy, 100 with Donkey, 100 with Tiny, and 100 with Lanky. The door shows Lanky's face, so head in.

Boss - King Kut Out

The Kremlings have built a cardboard imitation of K. Rool. You must use the barrel kannons to blast yourself into it. Each hit damages the display. If you miss or lose all your health, you get a new Kong to use. If you die with your last Kong, you must start over.

Walkthrough

    Head forward and jump into the glowing barrel kannon.

    You will be blasted at the kut out. Quickly swim back to the center platform without getting hurt by the Puftup or lasers.

    Dodge another group of lasers, and the kut out will pop up elsewhere. Jump into the glowing barrel kannon again.

    Wait for the kut out to pop up again and hit it a third time by jumping into the glowing barrel. One of its arms will fall off.

    Continue hitting the kut out. After three more hits (nine total), its head will fall off.

Go to Bananaport #4 and warp to the bottom. Facing the castle, head right to the winding stairs. Walk down and jump attack over the fence segment between the stone support and another set of stairs leading to a Diddy barrel. This should put you in front of the DK Portal, so exit.

Head down the stairs and over to the other side of the middle tower. Hop into the pit in the floor. You will fall to the ocean. Turn around and head to K. Lumsy's cage and go inside.

    Return Boss Key #7 to K. Lumsy. The dinosaur's tantrum causes the mouth of Crocodile Isle to open slightly, then close again.

  • In the Big Bug Bash, moving the swatter in irregular directions, especially diagonally, can help hit the fast-moving flies.
