The Driller is a close-quarters combat specialist, and their weapon choices reflect this. Driller weapons focus on devastating close-range damage, area denial, and the ability to carve through the environment. Mastering these tools allows the Driller to dominate tight spaces and create escape routes where none existed.

The Driller's signature weapons are their Flamethrower and Cryo Cannon. The Flamethrower is a torrent of fire that excels at melting through swarms of smaller enemies and dealing sustained damage to larger targets. Its area of effect is significant, making it perfect for clearing out infested tunnels. The Cryo Cannon, on the other hand, freezes enemies solid. Frozen enemies are vulnerable to shatter damage and can be easily dispatched with a follow-up attack, or they can be used as improvised obstacles. The freezing effect also slows down dangerous charging enemies, providing crucial breathing room.

Beyond these iconic weapons, the Driller also has access to powerful projectile-based options. The Subata 120 is a reliable sidearm that can be upgraded for increased damage or rate of fire, making it a decent choice for picking off targets at medium range or finishing off frozen enemies.
