Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor features four distinct character classes, each with unique strengths, weaknesses, and playstyles. Understanding these classes is crucial for effective teamwork and survival against the alien hordes.

• The Scout: Specializes in mobility, exploration, and resource gathering. Utilizes a flare gun for illumination and a grappling hook for unparalleled movement, making them ideal for reaching objectives and valuable items. In combat, they excel at single-target elimination and kiting enemies.
• The Driller: Excels at excavation, mining, and tunneling with powerful drills and satchel charges. Their primary weapons focus on debuffs and crowd control, weakening large groups of enemies for allies to finish off.
• The Engineer: Focuses on long-term automated defenses, most notably their Sentry Gun. They also possess a platform gun to manipulate the environment, creating strategic advantages. Their secondary weapons are powerful for clearing groups of weaker enemies.
• The Gunner: The team's heavy hitter, equipped with powerful weaponry like miniguns and rocket launchers. They are best suited for direct combat and handling any enemy type. Utility functions include a shield generator for temporary safety and a zipline gun for traversing large gaps.
