The Engineer is the master of defensive setups and automated firepower. Unlocking the Engineer grants the 'Enjoy a relaxing stroll' achievement. Their starting arsenal often includes the 'Warthog' Auto 210 and LMG Gun Platform, allowing them to establish a strong defensive perimeter.

Recommended Engineer Build Strategy:

• Primary Focus: Maximize Turret/Drone damage and uptime, combined with strong primary weapon support. Aim for 'Multitool' (damage with 5 types) by diversifying weapon types.
• Weapons: 'Warthog' Auto 210 (Overclock: Warthog Auto) for close-range burst, 'Stubby' Voltaic SMG (Overclock: Voltaic SMG) for sustained electrical damage, or LOK-1 Smart Rifle (Overclock: LOK-1 Smart Rifle) for guided projectiles.
• Utilities: LMG Gun Platform (Overclock: LMG Gun Platform) is core for automated defense. Consider the Voltaic Shock Fence (Overclock: Voltaic Shock Fence) for area denial or the Shredder Swarm Grenade (Overclock: Swarm Grenade) for additional mobile damage.
• Stats: Prioritize Damage, Fire Rate, and Projectile Count for your primary weapons. For turrets/drones, focus on upgrades that boost their damage, duration, or number. Area of Effect is also beneficial for clearing swarms around your defensive positions.
• Playstyle: Set up your turrets in strategic locations to cover your flanks or create kill zones. Use your primary weapon to support your turrets, focusing on enemies that bypass them or pose a direct threat. Maintain a balance between offensive and defensive upgrades.
