Alright, so you've made it to the Profaned Capital. It looks a bit imposing, but we'll get through it together. The first thing you'll notice is a Stone Gargoyle that swoops in. Don't feel like you have to fight it head-on right away. Instead, just back up a bit towards the stairs that lead down to the Irithyll Dungeon. From there, you can use your ranged attacks to take it down safely from a distance.

Once that's dealt with, you can cross the bridge and drop into the tower. Inside, climb the ladder. You'll find a couple of useful things up there: an Undead Bone Shard, the “Stretch out” gesture, and a bonfire to rest at. Make sure to grab all of it!

After you're done in the tower, head back down the ladder. You'll exit through a smashed wall on the side of the building. Turn left from there, and you'll run into another Stone Gargoyle. These guys can be tricky; they'll either have a torch or a spear and love to use jumping attacks. Your best bet is to roll under their attacks and then get some hits in on their wings or back. Just be ready to back off if they start covering themselves with a wing – they're preparing for something big.

After you've dealt with that second gargoyle, you can climb the ladder nearby. Up in the window, you'll find Rusted Coin x2. Grab those, then take the ladder back down. From there, just enter the building right next to you.
