Navigate the treacherous Grand Archives in Dark Souls III. Find key items, defeat challenging enemies, and uncover secrets with this expert walkthrough.

Alright, so you've made it past the Dragonslayer Armour, which is a huge accomplishment! Now, head down the stairs from that bonfire. Before we push forward into the main part of the Archives, take a quick detour to the right. You'll find another set of stairs leading down – at the bottom, there's a Titanite Chunk waiting for you. Grab it!

Now, backtrack to the bonfire area. You'll want to grab the Grand Archive’s Key and the Gotthard Twinswords from a corpse nearby. Don't skip these – they'll be super useful.

With those secured, it's time to enter the Grand Archives building itself. As soon as you're inside, make a dash up the stairs directly in front of you. You'll encounter a Crystal Sage here. Keep up the pressure; it'll eventually teleport higher up into the library, so be ready to follow.

After dealing with the Sage, head back to the main hall. This time, take the stairs to your left. You'll need to take out two Hollow Slaves here. Once they're down, go up another set of stairs to find another Titanite Chunk. After that, it's worth backtracking again to the main hall. Cross the area and take the *other* set of stairs. This path leads to a Crystal Lizard, which drops a Crystal Gem and some Twinkling Titanite. Be quick, they're slippery!

From where you found the Crystal Lizard, follow the path to the left. If you didn't accidentally fall down it while chasing the lizard, great! If you did, don't worry, you can probably find your way back. Turn right and you'll see a Grand Archives Scholar ahead. Take them down.

These Scholars aren't too tough, but watch out for the ones holding a lit candle – they can cast spells. They have pretty low health, so focus on taking them out quickly before they can overwhelm you with magic.
