Irithyll Dungeon

First things first, make your way to the Distant Manor bonfire. From there, head down the stairs and take the ledge straight ahead. You'll find a Rusted Gold Coin waiting for you. Grab it!

Now, be ready for a couple of Irithyllian Slaves waiting directly below you. Keep an eye out for a Large Titanite Shard tucked away behind a pillar. As you round the corner near the stairs, you'll encounter a Burning Stake Witch. Be super careful here. If you back up too far towards the stairs, you might accidentally aggro a Pontiff Knight waiting up there. Try to manage the witch without drawing his attention just yet.

After dealing with the witch, drop down to the ledge where you found the coin.

If you're playing embered, get ready for an invasion. The Dark Spirit Alva, Seeker of the Spurned will appear in the archway leading further into the dungeon. If you're quick, you can get a backstab on him as he spawns, especially if you wait for him to appear facing away from you on the stairs. Follow that up with a good combo as he gets up.

Alva wields a curved blade and fights a bit like the Farron Watcher you might have fought earlier. He'll do these spinning 360-degree sweeps and use a crossbow. The good news is, he's pretty easy to interrupt, so if you get that early advantage, you can end this fight quickly.
