Part 7

Begin by using low vegetation to recharge your suit's energy, staying hidden from KPA patrols on the beach and a northern gun emplacement.

Recon the open beach ahead. Once clear of patrols, move across, veering right to crouch under a large-leafed fern for a recharge.

Continue north, taking cover in low vegetation near rocks, out of sight of the gunner above. Recharge and proceed up the grade.

Move through sparse grass toward boulders, recharging in low ground cover. Continue toward the objective, passing through a gap in the boulders and grass clumps.

Enter the low ground cover near small boulders, which puts you in sight of the command trailer. Monitor the trailer's entry, wait for patrols to move away, and stealthily enter.

Retrieve the intelligence, which reveals the island's evacuation and General Kyong's command of elite troops.

Exit the trailer and use it as cover to eliminate the first responding KPA soldier. Systematically slaughter the rest with your shotgun. Be aware of a distant APC if it wasn't dealt with earlier.

(Optional) Eliminate six more KPA combatants manning gun emplacements and a walkway behind the trailer for shotgun ammo. Go right after exiting, kill the gunner, then deal with three KPA on a catwalk and two more in an elevated shack and a far gun emplacement.

If the APC wasn't addressed, watch for it as you return to the guard post. Use a parked vehicle or your own if you drove. Expect a patrol (two or three KPA) near their beach emplacement. Use binoculars to scan the beach before leaving the trailer area. Engage the APC turret or exit your vehicle to fight.

Drive to the vacated guard post and exit the vehicle.

Approach the checkpoint east of the guard post from behind the garage, using the dirt path and staying cloaked. Use fragmentation grenades or get close using the rock wall for cover to tranquilize two defenders. Cloak, advance, and shotgun the third before they revive. Avoid prolonged or noisy engagements to prevent KPA reinforcements from the hill.

Hustle through the barrier, go left past the second barrier, and enter the canyon, jumping ledges ahead of any reinforcements.

Proceed along the canyon to the distress signal's rendezvous point. Meet Prophet and the team near a stranded research ship.

After an alien squid-like monstrosity snatches Jester, follow Psycho out of the deep freeze and through the high country searching for him.

As a seismic tremor occurs, jump over a ledge as a flying squid moves up the canyon to end chapter one.
