Complete Crysis Part 19 walkthrough: destroy AAA gun, paint munitions depot, and acquire Gauss Rifle.
Walkthrough
- 1Locate the narrow dirt path west of the main road toward the boat dock and detonate C4 while in cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) (a place to hide from enemy fire).
- 2As you approach the water, be aware that a pair of KPA (Korean People's Army soldiers) will come down the path to investigate the explosion. You can let them pass or challenge them.
- 3Swim to the small island to the south, then swim underwater to recharge your energy before cloaking (making yourself invisible) to emerge near the boat dock.
- 4Recharge your energy behind the truck near the boat dock.
- 5Start up the hill towards the munitions depot, cloaking until you are out of the sightline of the two snipers on the high ground to your left.
- 6When the road veers left, go straight through the foliage, recharge, jump the low rock ledge, cross the dirt road, and get into the foliage at the crest of the hill near the tracks.
- 7Take out any KPA showing themselves with the silenced SCAR, as an enemy checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) (a fortified position to control entry) to the east will target you. The KPA will likely be at the sandbagged turret gun.
- 8Continue west, cloaked and recharging in the brush clumps on the roadway on the left side of the tracks near the cliffs.
- 9There are nine KPA in the area to the west: three in the guard post far to the west, two in the sniper tower, two guarding the AAA gun, and a two-man patrol normally roving nearby.
- 10Get in cover and snipe anyone in the area. Target the AAA gun’s crew with your silenced SCAR.
- 11If any loud shots were fired, watch your back for any KPA soldiers from the checkpoint to the east who may come to investigate.
- 12Move in closer to the AAA gun, staying on the high ground, and get a sightline on the two snipers in the tower on the high platform to the west through the foliage.
- 13Take them both out with the Precision Rifle.
- 14Use your missile launcher to destroy the AAA gun below.
- 15You will be informed that you have another task: get onto the overlook to the west and “paint” the munitions depot for an airstrike.
- 16Grab a missile launcher from one of the soldiers around the AAA gun to replace the one you expended.
- 17Continue west from the AAA emplacement, moving onto the high promontory on the right side of the road that overlooks the track area.
- 18Locate the three KPA: use binoculars to find the sniper concealed in the foliage on the ledge to the left of the sniper’s tower. Take him out.
- 19Locate and eliminate the two roaming KPA before descending.
- 20If you need Precision Rifle ammo, there are twenty rounds on the objective tower. Be advised that if you go for the ammo, the tank in the valley beyond must not see you or you will be targeted.
- 21Make your way onto the elevated sniper’s tower to paint the munitions depot to summon an air strike.
- 22Take the Precision Rifle ammo and descend.
- 23Take the APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) near the tracks and drive south along the tracks past the wrecked AAA gun to the supply VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing aircraft).
- 24Take the Gauss Rifle and a box of ammo from the supply drop to the south.
- 25Use the APC’s turret to eliminate the KPA at the barrier just past the VTOL and any near the trailer beyond it.
- 26Help the marine force and gunships eliminate the KPA at the next barrier ahead, who have a gun emplacement on the right side of the barrier.
- 27Use the Gauss Rifle to snipe the enemy.
- 28As you penetrate the barrier, check for survivors. Keep away from the mines by staying on the tracks.
- 29Return north to the VTOL supply ship and raid the remaining ammo box to max out your supply of Gauss rounds.
- 30Retrace your route south past the barrier.
- 31Jump over the fissure to end chapter five.
Tips
- If the gunship was not eliminated earlier and is still searching, it is vital that it doesn’t see you, as the tank will close on you with its cannon blazing.
- When approaching the water, be aware that a pair of KPA will come down the path to investigate the explosion.
- When starting up the hill, cloak until you are out of the snipers' sightline.
- There is an enemy checkpoint to the east; if you are seen, the KPA sentry will target you.
- Continue west, cloaked and recharging in the brush clumps on the roadway on the left side of the tracks near the cliffs.
- The two-man gun crew should be milling around the AAA gun.
- If you aren’t cloaked, the two snipers in the tower on the high platform to the west are probably firing on you.
- If you need Precision Rifle ammo, there is a rock ramp leading to the ledge where the sniper was concealed.
- If you go for the ammo, don’t let the tank in the valley beyond see you or you will be targeted.
- You can get a Gauss Rifle from a supply drop to the south.
- Keep away from the mines by staying on the tracks.
