After the detonation, cautiously exit the modular structure. If KPA remain, engage them or use stealth. Consider exchanging your SCAR for a KY71 assault rifle if ammo is low, but avoid the shotgun from the entrance cache for now.

Turn right after the munitions crates and proceed west. Go up the incline, turn right, and jump over the rock barrier.

Ahead, six to eight KPA are spread out. Move stealthily west along the mountainside, scouting and recharging in bushes. If contact is unavoidable, use a silenced assault rifle to snipe from a distance while remaining concealed in foliage.

Continue near the mountainside until you reach the shoreline. A guard post will be on the left, and a small islet ahead. Swim to the islet, silently eliminate the two KPA, and look southwest toward the trees across the river – this is your destination.

A helicopter gunship will begin searching. Board the nearby boat. Once the gunship is out of range, pilot the boat towards the trees. Exit the boat and use the foliage for cover to avoid the gunship's attention.

To deal with the gunship, scramble up the steep river bluff. Proceed west along the bluff, staying cloaked or under cover as the gunship circles.

The marshy area and guard post (if bypassed) should now be clear. Move west away from the guard post. Four KPA defend the large compound where intel on the excavation site was gathered. Continue along the bluff, avoiding the gunship in this exposed area.

Move over the rock barrier into the compound. Reach the southeast sniper's tower. If undetected, the four defenders will likely be near the APC. Eliminate them with sniper fire or a missile launcher, then restock missiles from those on the tower. Watch for hostiles from the east, but they are usually distant.

Address the gunship: find a sheltered spot, take it down, and restock your missile launcher from a KPA trailer or the tower.

Exchange your assault rifle for a shotgun, but keep the Precision Rifle. Shotguns and other munitions are available in the trailers.

Commandeer the truck or APC and drive down the switchback road. Make the sequence of turns: left, right, left. Stop before the next right turn. Exit the vehicle and move across the road into cover.

Seven KPA are at or near the bridge (two on the deck, three below by the river, two near the shack). Advance under cloak, recharge in bushes, and cross the river on the left side. Recon the area, then carefully enter the shack to stock up on munitions, including missile launchers, ammo, and a Precision Rifle.
