Okay, so sometimes things go sideways in Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2. Maybe you accidentally fired off a superweapon at the wrong time, or maybe a critical unit got wiped out unexpectedly. It happens! The key is knowing how to recover when the enemy notices you're in trouble and decides to throw everything they've got at you.

Scenario: You Misfired a Lightning Storm

Let's say you accidentally unleashed your Lightning Storm. Big mistake, right? Well, the enemy is definitely going to notice and probably launch a major counter-attack. Since Lightning Storms are way more effective against structures than tanks, you hopefully still have most of your armored units. Your first move should be to throw all your remaining armor at the enemy to fend off their assault. If that's not quite enough, and you've got some Prism Towers still standing, pull your tanks back to them for support. This should at least weaken or completely destroy the bulk of the enemy's forces.

What If That Doesn't Work?

If your tanks and towers aren't holding the line, it's time to bring in the infantry. If you've managed to keep a good number of GIs alive, they're surprisingly effective at taking down tanks. Just be super careful that the tanks don't run them over! To buy yourself some precious time, try strategically placing walls in the enemy's path. They'll likely waste time and resources destroying them, giving you a window to build up more tanks.

Last Ditch Effort: Aircraft

And if all else fails? It's time for your air power. If you still have a decent squadron of Harriers, they might just be able to take out whatever's left of the enemy forces. It's a long shot, but it's your best bet at this point.
