CUB4 - RTDM Strategies for Select Maps

Ambush Map Strategy: The AK-47 with a suppressor is recommended as the primary weapon for its effectiveness in both close and long-range encounters. A suppressed pistol of choice is the secondary. Perk 1: Claymores x 2. Perk 2: Stopping Power. Perk 3: Steady Aim.

Ambush Opening Play: If spawning on the bulldozer side, rush left and toss a 1-second cooked grenade down the alley ahead. This is effective against players using SMGs like the P90.

Ambush Alley Sweep: After the grenade, sweep left around blown cars to check the alley for enemies. If clear, proceed up the alley, check the house to the left for enemy claymores, and clear it. Place your own claymore near the doorway at a 90-degree angle to the motion of anyone rushing in.

Ambush Upstairs Clear: Clear upstairs rooms, watching for claymores or enemies firing from windows.

Ambush Mid-Map Movement: Move to the back of the map and cross, checking alleys and the radar (minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen)) for enemies. If a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) is called in, move more quickly, keeping your back to players as you sweep up alleys.

Ambush Close Quarters Combat (CQC): The AK-47 with Stopping Power and Steady Aim excels in CQC. If an enemy is sprinting away, use a stun grenade to close the distance before firing, as suppressed AK-47 rounds can be less effective at range, allowing a skilled opponent to turn and counter.

Ambush Sniper Counter: Most snipers use second-story buildings. Watch stairs and doors for claymores. Use the central buildings, accessible by climbing, to flank. Use grenades if available, or find an approach for a clear shot. Tunnels on the left and right of the map's center can be used to cross open fields when facing snipers or ACOG (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight) users.

Ambush Alternative Loadouts: A Silenced G36C is a viable alternative, freeing up Perk 1. Finding an ACOGed M16 is also highly effective for picking off enemies from the back of alleys, but remember to move after kills.

Ambush Airstrikes: Deploy airstrikes opposite mid-map unless multiple enemies are confirmed. The M60 is effective in open alleys and side lots, but mid-field is a death trap. Run loops around the outside to flush out campers and snipers.

Bog Map Strategy: This map features CQC zones and a large open area prone to sniping. Recommended primary weapons are the M4 Carbine, AK-47, or M16, all with a Suppressor. Secondary: USP Pistol.

Bog Perk Loadout: Perk 1: Claymore or Stun x 3; Bandolier is acceptable. Perk 2: Stopping Power. Perk 3: ExCon (Extreme Conditioning) for M4 or M16, Steady Aim for AK-47.
